Miss Venezuela 1980 was the 27th Miss Venezuela pageant, held at the Macuto Sheraton Hotel in Caraballeda, Vargas state, Venezuela, on May 8, 1980, after weeks of events. The title was won by Maye Brandt (Miss Lara). It marked Joaquín Riviera’s first time as program producer and was the first edition broadcast in color nationwide, just weeks before Venezuela’s full transition to color TV.
