Miss Venezuela 1996 was the 43rd edition of the pageant, held at the Poliedro de Caracas in Caracas, Venezuela, on September 6, 1996. Hosted by Gilberto Correa and Bárbara Palacios and broadcast by Venevision, the event concluded with outgoing titleholder Alicia Machado crowning Marena Bencomo of Carabobo as Miss Venezuela. Entertainment was provided by Patricia Manterola.
