Miss World Venezuela 2000 was the first Miss World Venezuela pageant. Held on July 15, 2000 at Venevisión Studios in Caracas, Venezuela, the event featured 36 contestants. At the end of the night, Martina Thorogood crowned Vanessa Cárdenas of Zulia as Miss World Venezuela 2000. Cárdenas went on to represent Venezuela at Miss World 2000.
