Miss World 1958 was the eighth edition of the Miss World pageant, held at the Lyceum Ballroom in London, United Kingdom, on 13 October 1958. Twenty contestants competed with six placements. Hosted by Bob Russell, the crown went to Penelope Coelen of South Africa, marking South Africa’s first Miss World and the second win for Africa. Brazil debuted, while Norway and Turkey returned.
