Miss World 1972 was the 22nd edition of the Miss World pageant, held at the Royal Albert Hall in London, United Kingdom, on 1 December 1972. Fifty-three delegates competed, and Belinda Green of Australia was crowned Miss World. She was the second Australian winner in four years. With reigning Miss World 1971 Lúcia Petterle unable to travel due to a broken arm, Julia Morley performed the crowning.
