Miss World 1988, the 38th Miss World pageant, was held on 17 November 1988 at the Royal Albert Hall in London, United Kingdom. Linda Pétursdóttir of Iceland won the title, crowned by Miss World 1987 Ulla Weigerstorfer of Austria; Yeon-hee Choi (South Korea) was first runner-up and Kirsty Roper (United Kingdom) was second runner-up. The event was hosted by Peter Marshall and Alexandra Bastedo, with performances by Koreana and Donny Osmond.
