Miss World 1990, the 40th anniversary edition of Miss World, was held on 8 November 1990 at the London Palladium in London, United Kingdom. Gina Tolleson of the United States won the title and was crowned by Miss World 1989, Aneta Beata Kreglicka of Poland. It marked the second Miss World victory for the United States (after Marjorie Wallace in 1973) and was followed by the pageant’s move to host editions outside the United Kingdom.
