Miss World 2000, the 50th anniversary edition of the Miss World pageant, was held at the Millennium Dome in London, United Kingdom on 30 November 2000, with portions also filmed in the Maldives. At the end of the event, Yukta Mookhey of India crowned Priyanka Chopra of India as Miss World 2000. The pageant featured 95 contestants and was the first Miss World held following the death of owner Eric Morley, with Julia Morley assuming responsibility for the event.
