Miss World 2003 was the 53rd Miss World pageant, held on 6 December 2003 at the Crown of Beauty Theatre in Sanya, China, marking the first time the contest took place in China. Azra Akın of Turkey crowned Rosanna Davison of Ireland as Miss World 2003, the first win for Ireland. A record 106 contestants competed. The show was hosted by Phil Keoghan, Amanda Byram, and Angela Chow, with performances by Luis Fonsi and Bryan Ferry.
