Miss World 2007, the 57th edition of Miss World, was held on 1 December 2007 at the Crown of Beauty Theatre in Sanya, China. Taťána Kuchařová of the Czech Republic crowned Zhang Zilin of China as Miss World 2007. The event featured 106 contestants and included the first global broadcast of the Beijing 2008 Olympic torch relay anthem "Light the Passion, Share the Dream," recorded by the contestants in cooperation with the Beijing Olympic Committee and Miss World Limited. To mark World AIDS Day, a tribute to the fight against AIDS featured a televised speech from Nelson Mandela, attendance by his family members, and performances by traditional South African dancers.
