Miss World 2013 was the 63rd Miss World pageant, held on 28 September 2013 at the Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center in South Kuta, Bali, Indonesia. Yu Wenxia of China crowned Megan Young of the Philippines as Miss World 2013, marking the Philippines’ first Miss World title and completing the country’s set of victories across the Big Four international beauty pageants. Following protests from hard-line groups, the final was moved from near Jakarta to Bali, and the traditional bikini-based Beach Fashion event was replaced with a Balinese Beach Fabric sarong segment.
