Miss World 2016, the 66th edition of the Miss World pageant, was held on 18 December 2016 at the MGM National Harbor in Oxon Hill, Maryland, United States. Mireia Lalaguna of Spain crowned Stephanie Del Valle of Puerto Rico as Miss World 2016. It marked the second time the pageant was staged in the United States and the second Miss World title for Puerto Rico, following Wilnelia Merced in 1975.
