The 10th edition of Reina Hispanoamericana (Reina Sudamericana) was held on November 3, 2000, in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia, with contestants from nine countries. At the end of the event, Yenny Vaca Paz of Bolivia crowned her successor, Ligia Petit of Venezuela, as Reina Sudamericana 2000.
