The 15th edition of Reina Sudamericana (Reina Hispanoamericana) took place on October 14, 2005 at Hotel Portales in Cochabamba, Bolivia, with 11 contestants. At the end of the event, Tania Domanickzy of Paraguay crowned her successor, Diana Milena Cepeda of Colombia, as Reina Sudamericana 2005. The Virreina was Verónica del Salto (Ecuador), and the runners-up were Jictzad Viña (Venezuela), Fiorella Castellano (Perú), and Rosanna Gómez (Paraguay). Costa Rica withdrew.
