The 17th edition of Reina Hispanoamericana was held on 28 October 2007 in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia, with 20 contestants. Outgoing titleholder Francine Eickemberg of Brazil, the last queen under the Reina Sudamericana title, crowned Massiel Taveras of the Dominican Republic as Reina Hispanoamericana 2007—the first winner under the new title. Debuting countries included Cuba, the United States, Honduras, and Mexico.
