The 21st edition of Reina Hispanoamericana was held on October 27, 2011 at Fexpocruz in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia, with contestants from 22 countries and autonomous territories. At the end of the event, Reina Hispanoamericana 2010 Caroline Gabriela Medina Peschiutta of Venezuela crowned her successor, Evalina Van Putten of Curazao, as Reina Hispanoamericana 2011. The event was broadcast live by the Bolivian network Unitel and streamed online.
