The 28th edition of the Reinado Internacional del Café was held on 1999-01-09 in Manizales, Colombia, with 23 contestants from coffee-producing and exporting countries. Jairam Navas of Venezuela, Reina Internacional del Café 1998, crowned her successor and compatriot Daira del Carmen Lambis of Venezuela as Reina Internacional del Café 1999.
