The 31st edition of the Reinado Internacional del Café was held on 12 January 2002 in Manizales, Colombia, with contestants from 22 coffee-producing and exporting countries. At the end of the event, Francine Eickemberg of Brazil, International Coffee Queen 2001, crowned Katharina Berndt of Germany as International Coffee Queen 2002.
