The 40th edition of the Reinado Internacional del Café took place on January 9, 2011 at Teatro Los Fundadores in Manizales, Colombia, within the Manizales Fair. Twenty-two contestants from coffee-producing and exporting countries competed. International Coffee Queen 2010, Mariana Notarangelo de Fonseca of Brazil, crowned Sofinel Mariel Báez Santos of the Dominican Republic as International Coffee Queen 2011. The event was broadcast by Telecafé, with additional coverage via Nuestra Tele and TRO.
