Señorita Panamá 1991, the ninth edition of the pageant, took place at Teatro Anayansi, Atlapa Convention Centre, Panama City, Panama, in September 1991 after weeks of events. The event was broadcast live on RPC Televisión with collaboration from Venevisión. Thirteen contestants competed, and outgoing titleholder Liz De León crowned Ana Orillac as the winner. Orillac later represented Panama at Miss Universe 1992 in Bangkok, Thailand.
