Señorita Panamá 2005, the 23rd annual Señorita Panamá pageant and 40th celebration of the Miss Panama contest, took place at the Centro de Convenciones Vasco Núñez del Hotel El Panamá in Panama City. The main final was held on September 24, 2005, with about 15 contestants competing. María Alessandra Mezquita Lapadula (Panamá Centro) won the title. A day earlier, on September 23, the separate Señorita Panamá Mundo final crowned Anna Isabella Vaprio. Mezquita later competed at Miss Universe 2006; Vaprio competed at Miss World 2005.
