Miss Panamá 2014, the 48th edition, was split into two contests: Miss Panamá World and Miss Panamá Universe, and was broadcast live on Telemetro. The Miss Panamá World final took place on 2014-04-08 at the Hotel Riu Plaza Panama in Ciudad de Panamá, where Raiza Patricia Erlenbaugh Soriano was crowned; she was dethroned on 2014-11-12 and replaced by her 1st runner-up, Nicole Pinto. The Miss Panamá Universe final was held on 2014-06-12 at the same venue; Yomatzy Maurineth Hazlewood De La Rosa won the Miss Panamá Universe title, and Stephanie Paulette González was named Miss Panamá Intercontinental.
