Señorita Panamá 2016 (formerly Miss Panamá) was the 50th national pageant selecting Panama’s representatives to Miss Universe and Miss World, and the first edition under new directors Justine Pasek (Miss Universe 2002) and César Anel Rodríguez. The final took place at the Trump Ocean Club International Hotel and Tower in Panama City and was broadcast by Telemetro. Keity Drennan Mendieta (Panamá Centro) won the title, crowned by Miss Panamá 2015 Gladys Brandao. Around twenty contestants took part, with ancillary events including the Gala Viva Panamá national costume competition and selections for other international titles.
