Binibining Pilipinas 1968, the fifth edition of the pageant, was held at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, Philippines on 15 June 1968, the first under the leadership of Stella Marquez Araneta. After the competition, Pilar Pilapil of Cebu crowned Rosario Zaragoza of Manila as Binibining Pilipinas 1968. Maria Elena Samson was first runner-up and Benigna Rustia second runner-up. Forty candidates competed. That year, the organization also acquired the Miss International franchise; in a separate event, Gemma Cruz crowned Nenita Ramos as Miss Philippines 1968.
