Nuestra Belleza México 2012 was the 19th edition of the national pageant, staged at the Centro de Convenciones y Polyforum Chiapas in Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Chiapas. The semifinal Nuestra Belleza Mundo México took place on 2012-08-30 and the final on 2012-09-01. Thirty-five contestants competed; Cynthia Duque of Nuevo León won Nuestra Belleza México and later competed at Miss Universe 2013. Marilyn Chagoya of Veracruz won Nuestra Belleza Mundo México and went to Miss World 2013. The show was televised in Mexico by Canal de las Estrellas and in the U.S. and Latin America by Univision. The edition introduced a virtual casting, featured two separate finals, and awarded the “Corona al Mérito” to Ximena Navarrete.
