Miss Brasil 1954 was the inaugural edition of the Miss Brasil pageant, held on June 26, 1954 at the Palácio Quitandinha in Petrópolis, Rio de Janeiro. Organized and sponsored by Folha de S.Paulo and Diário Carioca, the event gathered six contestants from Brazilian states as the national qualifier for Miss Universe 1954. Martha Rocha of Bahia won the title and was sashed by the poet Manuel Bandeira.
