Miss Brazil 1971 was the 18th edition of the Miss Brazil pageant, held on 1 July 1971 at the Maracanãzinho Gymnasium in Rio de Janeiro. Miss Brazil 1970 Eliane Fialho Thompson of Guanabara crowned Eliane Parreira Guimarães of Minas Gerais as the winner. The winner represented Brazil at Miss Universe 1971, while runner-up Lúcia Tavares Petterle of Guanabara represented Brazil at Miss World 1971 and won the international title. The event was broadcast by Rede Tupi.
