Miss Costa Rica 2014, the 59th edition of the national pageant (and the 40th under Teletica), was held on 2014-05-30 at Estudio Marco Picado in La Sabana, San José. Ten candidates competed for the title. At the end of the event, Miss Costa Rica 2013, Fabiana Granados, crowned Karina Ramos of Heredia as the winner. The show was broadcast by Teletica and featured performances by D’Tour and Kurt Dier. The winner represents Costa Rica at Miss Universe 2014. The edition used the slogan “Viva la Belleza.”
