Notes

ENFrom edition_translations
Miss France 1927 was the 3rd edition of the Miss France pageant, held on 19 March 1927 in Paris, after a five-year hiatus. Roberte Cusey (Miss Jura 1926) won the title, succeeding Pauline Pô (Miss France 1921). The term “Miss France” was officially adopted in 1927 by Robert and Jean Cousin, making Cusey the first to bear the “Miss France” title rather than “La plus belle femme de France.” The selection drew 663 contestants and was narrowed to 8 finalists.
