Miss France 1947 was the 17th Miss France pageant, held on 22 December 1947 at the Palais de Chaillot in Paris. Yvonne Viseux (Miss Côte d'Azur 1946) won the title. It was the first election since 1940, organized by the newspapers Cinévie and Le Parisien, and hosted by Louis de Fontenay and Henri Salvador. Forty candidates took part, with a pre-selection reducing the field to 24 for the final night. Contestants paraded in evening gowns and swimsuits, and a jury of prominent artists and media figures selected the winner.
