Miss France 1987 was the 57th Miss France election, held on 31 December 1986 in Paris at SFP studio 15 in the Buttes Chaumont, and broadcast on FR3 as part of the show “C’est demain 87.” It was the first Miss France election televised and the only one presented by Guy Lux (alongside Geneviève de Fontenay). Nathalie Marquay (Miss Alsace 1986) was crowned Miss France 1987, succeeding Valérie Pascale. The night became notable for on-air mix-ups in the announcement of results due to confusion at the Europe 1 switchboard, with the runners-up order corrected live. The evening also featured fundraising pledges for the Abbé Pierre Foundation.
