Miss France 2009, the 79th Miss France pageant, took place on 6 December 2008 at the Grand Carrousel du Puy du Fou in the Pays de la Loire, France. Broadcast live on TF1 and presented by Jean-Pierre Foucault and Sylvie Tellier (with Geneviève de Fontenay also listed), the show followed a "voyage through the eras" theme. Chloé Mortaud (Albigeois–Midi-Pyrénées) won the title, succeeding Valérie Bègue (Miss France 2008). It was the first time the election was held at Puy du Fou and in the Pays de la Loire.
