Miss France 2011, the 81st edition of Miss France, was held on 4 December 2010 at the Zénith de Caen in Caen, Normandy, France. Broadcast on TF1 and presented by Jean-Pierre Foucault and Sylvie Tellier, the ceremony crowned Laury Thilleman (Miss Bretagne), who succeeded Malika Ménard (Miss France 2010). It was the first time the event took place in Caen and the third in Basse-Normandie (after 1998 and 2004). The show’s theme was a world tour, with 33 contestants, and it was the first edition since 1954 without Geneviève de Fontenay following her departure; 12 former Misses announced the 12 finalists.
