Miss Grand and Miss Supranational Australia 2016 was held on 14 August 2016 at the Playhouse Theatre in the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA), Sydney. Eighteen candidates competed. Dani Fitch of New South Wales won Miss Grand Australia 2016, and Silka Kurzak of Queensland won Miss Supranational Australia 2016. First runner-up Anyier Teresa Yuol (NSW) was later appointed Miss Grand South Sudan 2016. Internationally, Fitch placed in the Top 20 at Miss Grand International 2016 (USA) and Kurzak placed in the Top 25 at Miss Supranational 2016 (Poland), while Yuol was unplaced.
