Miss Grand Costa Rica 2022 was the first edition of the national pageant. Held on 7 July 2022 at the Eugene O'Neill Theatre in San José, it featured 12 contestants selected through a national casting by CNB Costa Rica. The show was hosted by Catalina Murillo, Sasa Gomez, and Henry B. Wood and streamed on YouTube. Brenda Muñoz of Guanacaste won the title and later represented Costa Rica at Miss Grand International 2022 in Indonesia on 25 October, where she did not place.
