Miss Grand Venezuela 2022 was the inaugural edition of the national pageant, held on 13 August 2022 at the Teatro Municipal of Caracas, Capital District, Venezuela. Twenty-two delegates competed; Valentina Martínez of Anzoátegui won and was crowned by Miss Grand Venezuela 2021, Vanessa Coello. The grand final was hosted by Vanessa Coello, Leo Aldana, and Yanuaria Verde and streamed live via the pageant’s YouTube channel (GrandTV-VE). In addition, Sabrina Deraneck of Mérida was revealed as Venezuela’s representative for Miss Grand International 2022, but she resigned in early September due to health issues and was replaced by Luiseth Materán. The organization later planned for Martínez to compete at Miss Grand International 2023 in Vietnam.
