Miss Peru 2012/13 was held on June 30, 2012 at the Real Felipe Fortress Convention Center in Callao, Peru. Due to a restructuring of the contest, Nicole Faverón (Miss Perú 2011 1st runner-up) was appointed to Miss Universe 2012 and Giuliana Zevallos (Miss Perú 2010) to Miss World 2012. The outgoing titleholder, Natalie Vertiz, crowned Cindy Mejía (Lima Region) as Miss Peru Universe 2013, and Elba Fahsbender (Piura) was named Miss World Peru 2013. Twenty-one contestants competed for two national crowns and the right to represent Peru at Miss Universe 2013 and Miss World 2013.
