Miss República Dominicana 1976 was held on February 23, 1976, at the Carnival of the Hyatt Hotel Fair in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, with 28 delegates competing. Norma Eugenia Lora de Rosario (Independencia) won and was slated to represent the Dominican Republic at Miss Universe 1976. The runner-up, Jennyfer del Carmen Corporán Viñas (Santiago), went to Miss World 1976. Other semifinalists participated in various international pageants.
