Miss República Dominicana 1986 was held on 19 December 1985 at the Renaissance Auditorio de Festival del Hotel Jaragua in Santo Domingo, República Dominicana, with 28 delegates. Lissette Selena Chamorro Lajam (Monte Cristi) won and would represent the country at Miss Universe 1986; Susana Corina González Pérez (Santiago) was Señorita Mundo República Dominicana for Miss World 1986; and Lucía Collado (La Vega) was Señorita República Dominicana Latina for Miss Latin America 1986. The Reinado Internacional del Café franchise was canceled that year.
