Miss South Africa 2017 was the 59th edition of the national pageant, held on March 26, 2017 at the Sun City Superbowl in Rustenburg, South Africa. The event was simulcast live on M-Net and Mzansi Magic. Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters of Western Cape won the title; after she went on to win Miss Universe 2017, 1st Princess Adè van Heerden assumed the Miss South Africa title. The competition featured 26 semifinalists, with 12 finalists vying for the crown.
