Miss Universe Costa Rica 2024 was the inaugural edition of Miss Universe Costa Rica. Held on 10 September 2024 at the Centro Internacional de Convenciones ANDE in San Antonio de Belén, Costa Rica, the final was broadcast by GenteOpa, the new franchise holder. The edition included a reality show with 20 finalists (10 via public vote and 10 chosen by an internal committee). In line with Miss Universe’s inclusive policies, married women, mothers, and candidates of short stature were eligible. Elena Hidalgo Ramírez of San José won the title, becoming the first mother to be crowned in the country.
