Bob Barker hosted with color commentary by Joan Van Ark. Julie Hayek of California was crowned by outgoing Miss USA Terri Utley of Arkansas. Entertainment featured Larry Gatlin and The Gatlin Brothers. The event was broadcast by CBS and WBIR-TV.
