Puteri Indonesia 2002 was the 7th edition of the national pageant. The grand final was held on 2002-07-12 at Teater Tanah Airku, TMII, Jakarta, hosted by Tantowi Yahya, Alya Rohali, and Bernika Irnadianis Ifada. Notable attendees included Venna Melinda, I Gede Ardika, Sutiyoso, and Miss Universe 2002 Oxana Fedorova. Melanie Putria Dewita Sari of Sumatera Barat was crowned the winner.
