The second edition of the Reinado Internacional del Café, held under the name Reinado Continental del Café, took place on 29 January 1959 in Manizales, Colombia, with 13 contestants from coffee-producing and exporting countries. At the end of the event, Analida Alfaro Estripeau of Panamá (Reina Continental del Café 1957) crowned Denise Guimarães Prado of Brasil as Reina Continental del Café 1959.
