The 16th edition of the Reinado Internacional del Café was held on 1987-01-09 in Manizales, Colombia, with candidates from 15 coffee-producing and exporting countries. At the end of the event, Márcia Canavezes de Oliveira of Brazil (Reina Internacional del Café 1985) crowned her successor, Mariella Ileana Princic of Argentina, as Reina Internacional del Café 1987.
