The 54th Señorita Panamá pageant selected Panama’s representatives for Miss Universe, Miss International, Miss Supranational, and Miss Grand International. Owing to the COVID-19 pandemic, the organization held a prerecorded ceremony, broadcast on August 11, 2020 via the Telemetro program Tu Mañana, instead of the originally planned May 16 event. Carmen Jaramillo of Panamá Este, first runner-up in 2019, was appointed Señorita Panamá 2020. Further titles were assigned later: on October 9, 2020 Darelys Yahel Santos Domínguez (Miss Supranational 2021) and Angie Keith (Miss Grand International 2020), and on February 5, 2021 Valeria Estefanía Franceschi Alvarado (Señorita Panamá International 2020). Jaramillo later competed at Miss Universe 2020.
