The 17th edition of Nuestra Belleza México took place at the Auditorio Parque Las Maravillas in Saltillo, Coahuila, with events from September 23 (Semifinal) to September 25, 2010 (Final). Thirty-one contestants competed; Karin Ontiveros of Jalisco won the national title and later represented Mexico at Miss Universe 2011. Cynthia de la Vega of Nuevo León was originally crowned Nuestra Belleza Mundo México 2010 but was dethroned in July 2011; first runner-up Gabriela Palacio of Aguascalientes assumed the title and competed at Miss World 2011. The final gala was broadcast by Canal de las Estrellas in Mexico and by Univisión for U.S. Hispanic and Latin American audiences, and featured a performance by Chino & Nacho.
