Mexicana Universal 2026 was the 7th edition, held at the Teatro Auditorio Charles Chaplin in Guadalajara, Jalisco, on August 6, 2026, with 31 contestants including one from the Mexican community in the United States. Pety Juárez of Sinaloa won Miss Grand Mexico 2026; Valeria Espinoza of Colima was named Mexicana Internacional 2026; Jashia Alegría of Nayarit won Mexicana Hispanoamericana 2026; Didia Rubio of Puebla won Miss Afrikana México 2026; and Paulina Uceda of Michoacán was named MGI All Stars México 2026. The event streamed live via Facebook and YouTube. This edition also marked a franchise shift, dropping Miss Charm and acquiring the new Miss Afrikana International franchise.
