Miss France 1973 was the 43rd Miss France pageant, held at Le Méridien Étoile in Paris in December 1972. Isabelle Krumacker (Miss Lorraine 1972), aged 17, won the title, succeeding Claudine Cassereau (Miss France 1972), who had replaced Chantal Bouvier de Lamotte. A live duplex of the announcement was arranged during the 11 p.m. news on the first channel, presented by Alain Escoubé.
