Miss France 1979 was the 49th edition of Miss France, held at the Hôtel Nikko in Paris on 28 December 1978. Sylvie Parera (Miss Marseille 1978), aged 18, won the title, succeeding Brigitte Konjovic and replacing Pascale Taurua.
